It will introduce PCIT therapists to research on attachment and research-based methods of assessing patterns of child-parent attachment. Participants will learn to recognize patterns of secure and insecure attachment and how to incorporate these observations into their PCIT coaching. Therapists who have completed training in PCIT-TF, PCIT International, or PCIT, Inc. protocols meet the criteria to be listed as IOWA-PCIT therapists after completing this workshop.
